missed opportunity
I'm an avid believer in reviewing experiences both positive and negative, I think feedback is essential. I regret to review that dealing with Donna and Jana Walden from Mike Furutani reality was one of the worst experiences I've ever had in customer service. A roommate and I submitted all paperwork and volunteered to provide anything the Waldens need to ensure that we could sign a lease and move forward. We were informed on July 24th that we were approved for a 6 month lease on a 2 BR apartment and that we would meet the following day (Saturday)to sign the lease. Jana rescheduled for anyday M-F to sign the lease, after calling, texting and emailing everyday M-F we were completely ignored. Prompting me to call Mike Furutanis office, after which they immediately got Jana to call me. The Waldens continued to ask questions about our application and background before finally informing us that the unit has been leased to someone else. This happened 1 day before our agreed upon move in date. We now have no place to stay and myself and my veteran roommate are scrambling to find anything in the next day. If the Waldens communicated at all we could've preempted this and made other arrangements instead we were misled, culminating in Donna offering us $150 for the way the situation was handled. That offer didn't seem to make anything better. I encourage potential tenants to avoid Mike Furutani reality or at least the Waldens.Mahalo,
Homeless Dave
